David's father is responding to us. He nods his head yes and no, mouths words that we can't lip read and waved goodbye to us the other day. This is truly a miracle.
And it seems like he remembers everything. We asked if he remembered Blake and misses him, he noded yes.
He squeezed my hand, and my heartstrings and made me cry like a baby - something I had managed not to do for a couple weeks.
We are all so happy! He is there! He recognizes all those family jokes, and gives us the right answers to our questions. What a day it will be when he is able to open his eyes!
Dave and I are doing well. I went for my 16 week checkup. Heard the peanuts heartbeat, and the doctor diagnosed that pain in my side as gallbladder (sp?) problems. Just what I need! LOL Low fat diet and less dairy for me is the solution for now.
Next week I fly out to Canada with Blake and he will join me a week later. So excited.
Blake turns one on Wednesday. We are having a barbeque/pool party tomorrow with friends and family to celebrate.

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes. It is things like that, that really make me miss diaryland!
